This was too good to pass to illustrate the extent to which some individuals will lie in return for worldly gains. In this case, we have an airline pilot who claims "we don't use the 'curve' as a primary reference" for flying but rather an "inertial horizon and barometric pressure." This shill must not have heard of the expression flying by the seat of your pants, which means to fly a plane by feel and instinct rather than by instruments. And to do that we look outside and use the natural, straight horizon as a primary reference. If that wasn't ludicrous enough, @ReadECAM proceeds to claim that "it is a very slow pitch down movement and I mean very slow," to maintain straight and level flight.
