STELLAR LUMENS (XLM)

Like most of the other cryptocurrencies I have introduced here,
Stellar Lumens (XLM) is also a open source & decentralized protocol aiming to replace fiat by dominating the peer to peer money transfer domain.
What makes it so special than the others is that you can not only transfer money quickly and reliably with a fraction of a penny, but you can also pair it to any currency and pay the recipient in any currency you want.

The Stellar Lumens coins or XLMs act as a intermediary currency for conversion between different currency and you can convert your currency into cryptocurrency too.

You can easily send your money in your local currency and pay the recipient with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or pay it in the local currency of the recipent.
This solves all the existing problems that people have to suffer with the foreign currency exchanges and money transfer agencies or remits. And it makes cross-border payments a hell lot easier and convenient.

Last time I used a remittance service, they charged me over 10% of the total sum I was about to receive. Plus they added the extra currency exchange fees. A huge chunk of my college funds were snatched by these outdated organizations.

Now with the introduction of the cryptocurrencies like Stellar Lumens (XLM), life's going to get easier and these noncompetitive and unfair organizations will hopefully get extinct.
By using XLM as a intermediatary exchange for converting your currency to another currency, you can now engage in border-cross payments in less than a penny of transfer cost.

Worldwide, Remittance & Money transfer is a huge market. Millions of people work in abroad and send money to their homes every month or so. Various reliable sources estimate the market to be a worth of staggering $500 billion.
When a much cheaper & convenient solutions is provided to such a huge market, people will obviously flock towards the advanced & cheaper payment systems. And due to this Stellar Lumens is experiencing a tremendous growth recently. Even the non - tech savy users who aren't quite familiar with the cryptosphere are using XLMs for cross-border payments and money transfers. Stellar Lumens has rendered the borders border-less in terms of money transfer.

The above snap is captured from the site coingecko.com (my favourite cryptocurrency tracking site) and it's currently on the top 5 cryptocurrency list... hanging out with giants like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.
Despite the supply of about 17 billion coins, XLM is about to touch the dollar mark.
It has experienced a growth of 400% in the last 30 days and about 6000% since it's inception.

Funny it has a logo of Rocket because it's surely headed towards the moon!
