When you are active in the Crypto Space then you must have seen the terms AIRDROPS and BOUNTIES popping up everywhere. You see them on facebook, Twitter, Telegram, Whatsapp, Medium and Bitcointalk. But mostly they are at places where people are looking for free cryptocurrencies.

What are those so called AIRDROPS & BOUNTIES

As you might know we are having countless new ICO's popping up. Good ones, but also A LOT of bad ones. So much that most people do not even take them serious anymore. Not even when they are actually good projects.

So for a project to stand out the do AIRDROPS. What are they airdropping? Yes they give away some of their tokens. And why would they do that? well its quite simple. For those tokens or coins you need to do a little something for them. And that is spreading the word about them. That means following them in Telegram on twitter or facebook. Share the news about their existence and last but not least, make referrals for them. This is the way they reach the mass.

BOUNTIES are almost the same. The difference with bounties is that you only get tokens or coins only if you succeed in referring the project to other people.

What do you need to participate?

The majority of the tokens are ERC20 based tokens. So that means you need a ETH wallet. It can not be one from an exchange. So you can have one with MEW. Also what you must have is Telegram and twitter and facebook.
