What is Xenon and Why Did it Show Up in Your Wallet
Xenon is an EOS competitor, and the Xenon team created an erc20 token that will eventually have its own block chain. Xenon was distributed to Ethereum wallets with more then 0.1ETH by an airdrop.
Xenon plans to function in much the same way as EOS. As EOS is an open scource project, this should be easy.
From what I can tell the airdrop and token creation are motivated by the Xenon teams philosophy and the short comings they see in EOS. “Our aim is to be the primary, dominant chain at the time of launch due to wider distribution, stronger community and better developer engagement, as well as decreased regulatory risk by avoiding an initial coin offering” -Xenon Bitcoin Talk ANN page.
