I didn't know you had to provide personal informations. But that's the most valuable currency there is in the present times. But it's still better to get something in exchange than giving it to Google or Facebook with no retribution at all.
And you're right, I'm terrified, that's why I give no information at all (to the extent of what's possible) but the faces of people when you tell them you don't have Facebook, Instagram or anything like that, and they see you making temporary e-mails each time you have to register somewhere.
For the transparency of crypto, I think that's essential as it could in the future prevent too much of inequality in wealth distribution if anybody knew exactly who owns what. But it must remains anonymous, or at least private (like Bitcoin with encrypted addresses). Gigantic inequalities will suffice to trigger some kind of a revolt, but no need to inspire hatred against specific people.
