We all know that sex is sweet and enjoyable but then what comes after it might not be pleasant enough. In the century where we are now, nobody can be trusted. It was of a very great shock to me when i read the diary of a little girl that was barely 15 and was already infected with a sexually transmitted disease as a result of her early sex life. Who could have believed that such a young girl that looked like a church girl could be infected with such disease? From that day henceforth, i became a big fan of condom.

Today marks the eighth year since i lost a brother as a result of his negligence towards the saving grace a fifty naira worth of condom had to offer.

My brother went to portharcourt for his compulsory SIWES participation. On getting there, he got carried away and he got entangled in a web of love that led to his death. He was involved with an akwa ibom girl while he was there and unknowingly to him, she was a carrier of the killer virus. My brother also got infected and that was a turning point in his life and in the life of my family.

Some two years later after my brother came back from portharcourt, he fell sick and so he went to the hospital for check up. It was there he realised that he was positive. He could not the fact that he has become a disappoint to the family so he committed sucide. On 29th April 2010 was the last date on his diary and that was where we got the story.

The fact remains that he could have gotten HIV through other means but my bro was so sure that it was as a result of his sex escapade with queen because for those 2 years, she was the only one that he was doing it with and as for the other causative agents of the virus, he was so sure he could not have gotten it through that means because he was very careful.

Do you know how many lives have gone to the yonder all because of the fact that they don't want to use condom?

There is this saying that is completely undeniable by any guy that knows the real thing. The saying goes thus;

If this is the case, why not use a condom where you don't need to jump out. Although i know using condom is like eating banana with the peel but then if that will save your life, Is it not better?

Unprotected sex has led to so many unwanted pregnancies and these pregnancies has brought about several abortions that has caused the life of so many young girls or has caused them a loss of womb. It breaks my heart that people are losing all these virtues all because of a little sum of 50 naira.

Funny enough, i see no reasons why people should have a big problem with the usage of condom. For God sake, this life saving rubber does not have a side effect rather it helps your life. Just in case you don't know, condoms helps in making you last longer while having sex so what else do you need?

Life is so sweet and you cannot afford to cut it short all because you could not use 50 naira to save your self.

You can still enjoy your sex life and be safe. There is no need rushing to eat what you would eat continously. There is gain in pains. Use condom today if you must have sex and then when you get married, you can use flesh to flesh.
