Today I'm going to be talking about "what makes airclinic different" but before then, let me tell you briefly what the airclinic project is all about.
Airclinic is a health care facility built on the steemit block chain and it's the first of it's kind. Airclinic is aimed at decentralizing healthcare, there by increasing the functionality of the medical sector globally and also leading to less central control.
The airclinic team consists of two health experts and one health enthusiast, Dr. George Edeh & Dr. Blessing Imade while the Business Team is lead by Mr. Ejemai (the health enthusiast).source
Airclinic is built and is being managed on the blockchain, it can be said to be a blockchain hospital. You might wonder how do they hope to run an hospital on the blockchain, well on airclinic you can get access to any health specialist for consultation and in the case of emergency airclinic tends to act like uber but in this case the medical version of uber, they will play the role of medical matchmaker. Once there's an emergency the nearest healthcare provider or healthcare center will be contacted for immediate response.
Airclinic is different unlike all other hospitals with airclinic you can get rewarded for different reasons including writing health-related articles and carrying out health -related researches. By contributing knowledge or ideas to individuals/clients through airclinic you get a chance to be curated or rewarded by the airclinic team with steem or SMT(smart media token).
Airclinic brings the hospital to you, by using your phone, ipad or laptop you can get access to an health specialist or a doctor for consultation without even having to visit the hospital, your hospital is right in front of you. Doesn't that sound exciting, all you have to do is have the airclinic app on your mobile or get in touch with them on their discord channel.
