Emergency response is better in developed countries than the undeveloped. To improve on this using Nigeria for instance, there is every need for reorientation especially among the so called elites who abuse sirens which are meant for use only on emergencies.
A situation where madam will send her driver to go and buy chewing gum for her and the driver will put on siren just to show off is uncalled for, this and other abuses has caused our society to overlook sirens even in real emergency situations. Government should place a total ban on the use of sirens except for emergencies only.
