Everyone craves for healthy living and long life. This is even the will of God for all mankind. Though, this is the mind of God concerning us, we also have a major part to play in order to be healthy, live long and also function optimally. This implies knowing and employing healthy lifestyles that can enhance healthy living.

Health is a basic human right and yet one of those terms which many people find it difficult to define and the scope of it is multi-dimensional and complex. However, this is a continuation of the DIMENSION OF HEALTH the second part. Here is the link to the previous part in case you didn't get to read it, before i continue.

Beforehand, let take a look at;
QUALITY OF LIFE
This refers to the individual's overall behavior in relation to environment which include feeling of alertness, energy, friendliness, clear thinking and capacity to respond to efficiently to all external and internal demands that may be encountered.

The other dimension of health is as follows:

  1. SPIRITUAL HEALTH

This is the maintaining a healthy relationship with God and man. Obey God's precepts.

  • Read the word of God daily if you want to grow spiritually. Be prayerful. Seek the kingdom of God and its righteousness whole heartedly.
  • Avoid sin of all kinds- confess to God (if any) because sin torments and devastates health - physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
  1. EMOTIONAL HEALTH

To stay truly healthy, you need an ability to recognize emotions like anger, fear, joy, grief, and to express such appropriately. People that are emotional healthy still feel stress, anger, sadness, etc but knows how to manage negative feelings. Study shows, that emotional health is a skill.
There are ways which one can take to improve emotional health and be happier.

° STEPS TO ATTAIN EMOTIONAL HEALTHINESS.

  • Alertness to emotion and reaction; try to address what in your life that frustrates, make you sad and angry.
  • Expression of feelings; let other people know what maybe bothering or making you uncomfortable. Keeping sad feelings or anger inside add to stress.
  • Take your time to think; this help a long way because it aids right decision making.
  • Balance; create healthy balance between work and play. Activities and rest.
  • Stay positive
  • Connect with the right people.
  • Find purpose and meaning.

Things to consider about emotional health is that people who have emotional soundness can still have problems. This could be a chemical imbalance in the brain. Medicine, supoort groups, counseling, can help people with emotional problem.
