#ACOF CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN: 4 Days To World Cancer Day; Outreach Co-ordinators Do A "Street View" To Find Out What People Know About Cancer & Many More!
Hello Air-Clinicians & Friends,
This is our own way of reaching out to the masses and promoting public health. Our Outreach Coordinators went to the "Streets Of University of Uyo" to find out what people know about cancer.
As we have announced previously, we just launched "#ACOF- AIR-CLINIC OUTREACH FOUNDATION" to help the offline solve their healthcare needs as they arise. We do this by;
1- Educating the general public on prevention of common diseases.
2- Screening tests for early detection of diseases.
3- Treatment of common ailments.
4- Counselling & Appropriate referral if it requires more expert management.
5- Participating in WHO Healthcare holidays for awareness
WORLD CANCER DAY IS COMING! + STREET VIEW
In Preparation for the WCD, our Outreach Cordinators were out on the Street to engage students and lecturers to find out what they know about Cancer.
They include;

- @Gidionline
- @XpressNg
The 3 of them have been coordinating so well and we are quite impressed with the outcome of their "ginger".
Many people had some very vague ideas on what Cancer was. As it turned out, they knew it kills. They agreed that it was dangerous but they couldn't describe it n concrete terms.

this is so nice.
i wish people could know the societal effects of cancer.
however, cancer can be treated or even avoided with early detection.
i dont know what is the main reason why nigerians find it very difficult to go for proper check up.
prevention they say is better than sacrifice.
