What is AI Arena?

AI Arena is a PvP platform where gamers can purchase, train, and battle with AI-enabled NFTs. The main objective is to knock opponents off of a platform.

In the game, player can train their NFT character through Imitation Learning. During the process, the AI learns every actions, copy them and use them when they are ready to fight. Player can then submit their NFT into the arena when they are ready to compete using. Fighting tasks are carried autonomously by the NFT against an opponent near its skill level. Players can earn rewards in AI Arena's native token called Neuron $NRN. The token will be used to facilitate the economic activities in the ecosystem. The token will launch after the game launch in Q1 2023. The game is currently in its development and testing phase.

GAME MODELS AND INTERFACE

AI Arena NFTs are backed by real AI models. The initial generations are backed by neural networks (developed by ArenaX Labs - the company building AI Arena). These are flexible machine learning models that can theoretically learn anything.

There are two components to the AI model, the architecture (think: nature), and the parameters (think: nurture). The architecture of the model determines how the AI learns over time. The parameters update through training. The parameters can be thought of as the “intelligence” that the model acquires through training. There will be more types of AI models in the future.

The game user interface has been developed in such a way that it abstracts away the complexity of AI, making it easier for player with player with no much experience to play the game, yet powerful enough for advance users to retain control over specific training parameters.
