Conscious AI - The Future of Local Governance?
Fail and fail again, seems to be the current and historical course of action regarding the series/type and evolution of Government of the Human species. Perhaps it is now time to start work on a REAL alternative to the inherent disabilities of Human self interest to Govern. We find repeatedly the aspects of greed, and self interest or connected/party interest creep in to politics and Government including lobbying by big business . The way to eradicate this is to enable an Artificial Intelligence to run at the local level, with Human and planetary welfare at its core.
Perhaps the answer lies in an eventually conscious localized (i.e not connected beyond it's City of residence or borders of responsibility) Artificial Intelligence responsible for a liberal governance of say a City. Each City having its own version of a community open sourced AI. Although the AI should be offline it would be a connected entity in an offline City wide Blockchain and connected to all those services necessary to be able to automate and control that which makes the Human existence easier and less volatile.
The parameters of governance would be two part, both solidified/immovable in the respect of defence only capability, and the usual laws of Robotics. Secondly, the local aspects of govenance could be modified by Blockchain City resident member voting, a true democratic system and secondly flexible in council level governance i.e budget allocations and City admin. The voting process could exist easily by utilizing identity confirmed Vote tokens and having software account for votes to various wallet addresses, being the wanted action or non-action.
The AI would set a ringed target of Human behavior, and stepping out of socially expected behavior would categorize firstly a warning and then if persistent a legal punishment, possibly resulting in expulsion from the CIty in extreme cases.
I am not saying that Human's are not capable of governance, but that those lower base emotions many of us try and fight to free our higher level beings is a hard task indeed and although there is no greater purpose, those that have accomplished this mighty Alchemical transformation are few and far between, lets break the chain of repetitive destructive cycles when it comes to government. AI is the future of unselfish self governance. What do you think?
