I agree w/ him re Chatbots, I don't see much potential there. This quote was quite interesting: "Note that none of my reasons for the bot bust state that ‘the AI isn’t good enough yet.’ The issue with most systems like siri is more that they’re poorly implemented."

Hilarious the comparison to cleantech for AI. Cleantech was such a disaster visible in advance to me because it all was so tied into government regulation, subsidies, etc. AI is different than that though. I agree that fullstack vertical AI-leveraging startups have significant potential.
