Agorism Ch. 4 Part 1: The Agorist's Medium Of Exchange: Cash

Up until recently, the best medium of exchange for the agorist to commerce with has been cash (i’m talking paper bills). The agorist can trade labor for cash, sell products and services for cash, and can keep that hidden from the government in order to avoid taxation fairly easily. The fact that the government can’t keep track of all of the cash that’s been printed, and the fact that pretty much everyone will accept cash for payment in person, makes cash a great tool for the agorist. But cash has major limitations, and these very inconvenient limitations are the reason why the high level agorist who strictly uses cash, is a very rare bread.
The major drawback of strictly using cash is that to retain financial privacy, transacting must be done in person. Transporting and/or storing large amounts of cash isn’t ideal or safe for many reasons. Sure, you could open a bank account, get a debit card and some checks, but doing this is risky if you plan on being a wealthy agorist, which we all should strive to be. If you start depositing large amounts of cash or large personal checks into the bank, this may raise eyebrows and could potentially put a target on your back from a number of agencies let alone the bank.
In conclusion, cash has historically been the best available medium of exchange for the agorist Although cash has facilitated the possibility of living the agorist lifestyle for 100s of years, the limitations of cash make living an agorist lifestyle of abundance and peace inconvenient. Dealing only in cash works great for the sort of “pay-check to pay-check agorist” who keeps their income and expenses low. By doing this you stay under the radar and can live a peaceful abundant life where all you earn is yours to keep and enjoy.
I’ve always noticed how society tends to frown on what I’ve just coined as the “pay-check to pay-check agorist”. These are individuals who don’t have a conventional job but who work under the table maybe by working odd jobs, maybe selling a commodity (like drugs) or prostitutes etc.. The way of the hydrator is not to frown upon or judge these people. Hell these people have it figured out, they’re not having a huge % of their income being confiscated by the government. The “pay-check to pay-check” agorist may not have the security that comes with a conventional job, but they may have freedom and peace knowing that they aren’t contributing to government’s murdering human beings around the world.
