Nutritious African Dishes

Wondering what this is? Well, it's boiled plantains with 'kontomire'(cocoa yam leaves) stew, topped with palm oil and boiled egg. Very nutritious and yummy to eat.

The leaves gives lots of vitamins and my favorite part of it is, it helps gain lots of blood by preventing anaemia. Pregnant women are often adviced to take lots of these green leafy vegetables by cooking them. When properly cooked, should be grounded.

Green leafy vegetables helps gain blood, also for easy digestion. Most homes, prepare this nutritious food for their families. Some people also use the leafy vegetables to prepare palava sauce which can be eaten with rice, yam, plantains, cocoa yam, etc.

All these and more other green vegetables are enriched in vitamins, minerals etc very good for consumption and healthy.
