Euthanasia

Euthanasia is a medical concept that comes from the Greek words EU which means good or well and THANATOS which means death.In other words,good death.Euthanasia is an act of inducing or permitting death painlessly as a relief from suffering.Another name for euthanasia is mercy-killing which refers to the act of artificial life-taking on the basis of love or mercy.
Killing is morally bad but that does not necessarily rule out the rightness of killing a guilty murderer.It is morally justifiable.This explains why moral and religious thinkers do not hesitate to justify tyrannicide or the assassination of a dictator who has assumed the role of God.His assassination maybe a merciful act for the masses of oppressed men and women.This is what Christians normally call the "divine intervention".
