African shirt, capturing the world
Meet, dashiki - a bright shirt with a V-neck, traditional clothing for men and women in West Africa. The word "dashiki", translated from the Yoruba language, means "shirt." Traditionally it is worn with kufi, which means "hat", and sokoto - so Yoruba call pants. Usually the length of the dashiak is about mid-thigh. There is also a version of an ankle-length shirt - the so-called Senegalese caftan. It is also worn with Kufi and Sokoto. Women traditionally wear dashiki with a long skirt. On sale you can see shirts of all kinds of colors, and some colors are associated with certain events. For example, white dashiks are put on for a wedding, and black and red for a funeral. The rest of the colors are much more versatile.
Dashiki is beautifully integrated into a modern wardrobe and designer collections. And it can be not only an original shirt of traditional cut, but virtually any clothes with a characteristic cut and ornament. Dresses, tunics, with a hood and without, on the lock and buttons, with long sleeves and absolutely sleeveless, t-shirts, sarafans and much more.
