THE "I CAN" ATTITUDE IN AFRICA
Try and fail but Never fail to try is commonly said to encourage one another in life.
When we are born, we grow up with a positive attitude toward work.
As children we always want to be involved in every house hold wok which at times is taken as disturbance to elders.
However, if such attitude toward work is positively encouraged, children will grow up with a positive attitude to work.
Young children always think that they can do everything that comes their way.
My son at home has a positive attitude toward every piece of wok despite how big it is. He challenges me!!!!!!!!
I no longer look at his involvement in house hold work as disturbance, but I have taken it up as an opportunity to raise him up as a hardworking boy.
But the question remains
"WHERE DOES SUCH POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD WORK GO WHEN PEOPLE GROW UP?"
In Africa the "I CAN Attitude" is still a challenge especially among grown ups (both graduates and non graduates).
Africans still need to accept the reality of life and face life in its real picture.
Let us stop "lamenting" about poor leadership because all reigns come to an end. There is the for everything.
Unemployment should not be a night and day mare to us Africans, because we are blessed with land and good climate.
Let us think outside the box to increase on our income.
Let us remember that the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:3 "sorrow is better that laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better" (Bible Gateway, 2018 ) Available on: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes+7%3A3-5&version=KJV
Let us work as people who will live for more 500 years on earth..........
