INFORMATION MOMENTUM - A STRATEGIC BUSINESS EXPLOSION MECHANISM.
What makes one idea spread across large population fast and others don't is what I call information momentum. The momentum of an info is based on timing, if you send the information when the momentum is highest, it spreads like wild fire.

Sometime in 2014 i received a call around 4 a.m, the caller said the news is making the rounds that every body should take ''salt water'' bath. I immediately began to research on salt water bath and i found out it's use for detoxification, and it's sea salt that has not been refined that is required. So i did not take ''salt water'' bath.
I was shocked in the morning when i learnt how this piece of information triggered a mass region across Nigeria over night- hundreds of thousands had taken salt water bath.
Why did so many people subscribed to an idea that was not known to them just the previous day?
There was already a very high momentum on ground which subconsciously prepared their mind. That momentum was Ebola Virus - nobody wants to die.
I figured that organizations can increase their sale by sending information about an idea to the public just when the momentum is highest. You can imagine the money salt producing companies would have made from this.
