A mural speaking a million words.
A picture speaks a thousand words but this mural speaks a million words as it shows the history of the African people through various epochs from the precolonial, colonial and post colonial eras in Cross River,Nigeria.
At the top are paintings of two gentle men i.e the former Governer of cross river from the left and the from the right is the Current Governor (Donald Duke and Ben Ayade respectively).
Cross river is known to be the land the British arrived first in the region that the state of Nigeria was later formed in 1914.
The next photo reveals the presence of the colonial government and the of alcculturation of African men and women to the western style of dressing
The mural further goes to shows us the era we live in currently and the future we are about to experience in the world and in cross river, Nigeria too by including the painting of robot. Which means that in no distant time from now, humanity will have a break through in artificial intelligience all over the world
The next photo, the painter shows the Governor of Cross River on his scorpion mobile, just as it were in the calabar annual fest.
And lastly a picture of the place that the mural now stands before it was painted.
Location: calabar, Cross River Nigeria.
