Female battering

Today i saw a young man and a young lady having a heated discussion at first i thought it is one of their usual altercations but later i found out that there is more to it than i thought. The young man claimed to have given her a paltry sum of #2,000 which in return he wants to forcefully have sex with her and the young lady declined. He was forcefully dragging the young girl into his room while she struggled to set herself free. When he wasn't winning he resulted into hitting her and the girl began to bleed profusely from her head. What amazed me the most was that people just stood watching while she was being battered. The lady on her part said she came to buy clothes from the young man and he wanted to use that medium to rape her. People folded their hands and watched while she was being beaten and dragged on the ground in this harmattan i could hear people asking questions like "who carry her come there", "no be she use her leg come find man". Then it dawned on me that humanity is losing it's sanity i mean how can someone be shouting that he wants to rape a lady in return for taking #2,000 from him and no one is blinking an eye lid?. I pray that we never find ourselves in ugly situations because nobody is interested in your case. Thanks for reading
