RELIEF OF AFRICA:
The relief of Africa can be grouped into the following relief groups,
(a) The east made up partly of mountains.
(b) The west made of partly of highlands
(c) The south made of partly of plateaux.
(d) The north made of partly of ranges.

(A) IN THE EAST AFRICA:There are many mountains of great Heights eg kilimanjaro mountain (5,895m),which is the highest mountain in Africa, Cameroun mountain Ethiopian mountain ;Mt elgon,Mt ruwenzori and Mt kenya.

(B) IN WEST AFRICA :
The main Highland are the footage djallon,guinea, adamawa Highland and nos plateau.

(C) IN SOUTH AFRICA:
The areas are mainly plaeaux.there is a continuous escarpment,highest in the drakensberg mountains in South africa.

(D) IN NORTH AFRICA:
The ranges I nudes ahagger,tasilli,tibesti,darfur,and atlas mountains in North West Africa.

DRAINAGE IN AFRICA:
Africa has a large number of important rivers out of the many rivers in africa,oy five areas really outstanding a regard their length and volume, these are rivers Nile(6,600km),the longest in africa;river niger(4200km) which has it source in the guinea Highlands ;rivers zambezi(2,400km) and the river orange (1,600km),.these are the main rivers in the southern part of africa.

on the other hand the zambezi is the Karina lake-one of the largest man made lakes in the world. other important but short rivers includes Senegal, limpopo, Volta and gambia.rivers in Africa possess some of the characteristics which are,
(1) change in the volume of the river in seasons
(2) they are presence of rapid and cataracts
(3) they are presence of debris and other features
