"The Weekend Wash-Up" AFL Fantasy Classic Review + Summary!

Round 17 is run and done so only 2 rounds left!
The Top 8 is just about set it stone after last weekends results.
BraphB dealt what might be a mortal blow to Hannibals Leftovers top 4 chances when he won 2300 - 2079.
Hannibals is in 6th position after that loss but safely tied up his top 8 spot.
BraphB moves back into the Top 4.
Adro's Assassins needed to beat Mmeow to lock in his top 8 spot but found the Cat too strong, losing 2018 - 2240.
Mmeow remains in 2nd spot on the ladder while Adro's Assassins is in the 8, 2 games clear of 9th but the door left slightly ajar.
Our ladder leader Medhurst Minions put an exclamation mark on what has already been a flawless season.
The Minions put up a league high Round score of 2510 to smash poor Niges Cats whose 2205 was a respectable score itself.
The Minions remain undefeated on top of the ladder while Niges Cat's has dropped out of the Top 4.
Lions4Life had to keep winning to keep his top 8 chances alive and did everything possible by putting up a 2360 which was the 3rd highest in the league this round.
Unfortunately he ran into my (@dahmsy79) 2380 score to narrowly lose a thrilling contest.
A small positive for Lions4Life is Adro's Assassins also lost so the door remains slightly open but he would need to win his last 2 and hope the Assassins lose them both.
Playing for Draft Picks is out of contention but continued her strong recent form by putting Cunning Stunts is Back Again to the Sword, 2220 - 1638.
Little Old Lady is out of contention but did have the Bounty chance this week against Lockout (@o07).
Unfortunately for the Old Lady he could not get it done and Lockout has sealed his top 8 spot now with the 1995 - 1836 victory.
Piston-Broke had the guaranteed 4 points this week against NZL19500.
Buffalo Bisons and Steemit Huskies played out a ripper to show neither player is putting their que in the rack despite being out of contentions.
The Bisons got the chocolates in the end winning 2175 - 2142.
It was a case of 19th v 18th with I Wear Footy Pajamas defeating DBLSTR 1689 - 1416.
The last game of the Round saw a mini upset with Kulate collecting his 3rd win of the season over Just2Random, winning 1856 - 1770.
So with 2 games left to go the Top 8 looks like this:

Looking ahead to the Round 18 fixtures that will help shape the Top 8:
6th placed Hannibals Leftovers takes on 2nd place Mmeow.
A win for Mmeow would officially lock up her Top 4 spot while closing the Top 4 door on Hannibals.
In the match of the Round 5th placed Niges Cats takes on 4th placed BraphB.
Niges Cats has the slightly better percentage so a victory would see him snatch his Top 4 spot back.
In another battle between Top 8 teams Adro's Assassins takes on my Dahmsy79 team.
A win for the Assassins would lock in his top 8 spot while a win for my side would seal my Top 4 spot.
Our ladder leader Medhurst Minions will not be expected to have too many worries disposing of 15th placed Cunning Stunts is Back Again.
Lions4Life just has to keep winning to keep his finals chances alive and will be fancied to beat Little Old Lady this week.
Lockout (@o07) is safely in the 8 now but will be looking to improve his ladder position heading into finals and will be favoured to defeat Steemit Huskies.

@NZL19500 gave me a couple of nervous moments. Had he been able to get a full side in for the early rounds, he may well have caused a few headaches this year.
