"The Weekend Wash-Up" AFL Fantasy Draft Review + Summary!

Round 11 is now complete and that means we all get the 3 bye weeks off to sharpen up our team before the final 5 matches of the home and away season.
Round 11 saw the most ridiculous score I have ever made in any Draft comp any time.
You just don't see 1892 scorelines in Elite version and I feel for poor old Kulate running into that one.
9 of my guys went over 100 and the lowest scorer was 72.
Safe to say I protected my bounty this week with a bazooka
In other results:
Playing for Draft Picks moved into 5th and put a dent in DBLSTR's finals chances with a 1341 - 1121 victory.
The Picks were well served by her GWS trio of Coniglio, Whitfield and Shiel who got 300 between them.
Little Old Lady put up a decent score himself this week with a 1510, to defeat fellow top 8 side Steemit Huskies who got a 1391.
Bryce Gibbs and Devon Smith continue to enjoy their new clubs to put up 142 & 129 scores for the Old Lady.
With that win the Old Lady has now jumped into 2nd on the ladder.
Mmeow maintains her spot in the Top 8 with a 1436 - 1309 victory of Farqers.
It was a pretty even performance across the board for Mmeow with the exception of Joel Selwood who was immense for the Cat, scoring 136.
12th Placed Brockies Superstars caused the upset of the Round by defeating 2nd placed Piston Broke 1379 - 1219.
A return to form of a couple of Sainters in Newnes & Membrey was the catalyst for Brockies 2nd win of the season and relegates the Pistons to 4th place.
The Mighty Fitzroy Lions was hit with the injury curse at the worse possible time.
With the chance at the Bounty and a spot in the top 8, the Lions lost Lever and Darling early in their matches for scores of just 8 & 5. Lever the more serious with a confirmed ACL! Ouch.
On top of that Berry was a late withdrawl in a week where it all went a little pear shaped for Lions.
Despite these tough breaks, the margin was relatively close with Lockout (@O07) prevailing 1275 - 1182.
Some tremendous performances in the middle from Duncan, Hunter, Oliver and Zorko was enough to get the win and move Lockout into 3rd place on the ladder.
The Mighty Lions remains a game out of the 8 in 9th but still alive for season 2018.
Lions4Life suffered a very costly loss at the hands of the hot and cold Medhurst Minions this weekend which puts a dent in the Lions4Life Top 8 chances.
The Minions winning a close one 1409 - 1363 thanks to tons from Gaff and Walters plus a surprising 100 from free agent inclusion, Sheridan.
Lions4Life are now 2 games out of the 8 but still have a pulse in 2018.
In our last game of the week, the always competitive I Wear Footy Pajamas got back to winning ways with a 1359 - 1013 victory over Cunning Stunts is Back Again.
The Footy Pajamas was well served by reliable Midfielders Merrett, Curnow, Heeney, Crouch but the Pajamas have found a couple of gun kids in Logan Austin and Bayley Fritsch who delivered surprise tons.
The Pajamas has cosolidated his spot in the Top 8 and is in 6th spot.
So after 10 matches played in the comp, the Top 8 looks like this:

We are now into the Bye Rounds we all have 3 weeks off to get our teams right and give some of our injured players time to recover.
We will be back for our 11th match of the season in Round 15.
Lets take a look ahead to Round 15 at some of the Top 8 shaping matches:
My Dahmsy79 team will hopefully continue on it's winning ways against DBLSTR
Steemit Huskies will want to bounce back with a win against Kulate to protect his spot in the Top 8
Likewise, Playing For Draft Picks will also be wanting to protect her spot in the Top 8 with a win over Farqers.
In the match of the Round we will see 2nd place Little Old Lady take on former number 2 and now 4th placed, Piston Broke
Another really interesting match up will be between 4th placed Lockout (@o07) and 8th placed Mmeow.
Will lock Lockout protect his spot in the top 4 and at the same time open the door to the 8 for 9th placed Mighty Lions?
Speaking of The Mighty Fitzroy Lions, if they are to get a spot in the 8 after next round they would of earned it as 6th placed I Wear Footy Pajamas will be a tough match.
The Pajamas will be desperate to consolidate his spot in the 8 and keep the pressure on the top 4.

Losing Zaharakis in the first quarter certainly hurt me this week, but top of that hat to Brockie who beat me fair and square.
