"The Weekend Wash-Up" AFL Fantasy Classic Review + Summary!

Round 16 Results:
In the battle of 6th place Hannibals Leftovers v 7th placed Adro's Assassins on team was going to cement Finals action whilst the other would remain vulnerable to the chasers.
It was the Hannibals that prevailed in this one 2296 - 1985 to lift himself into 5th spot on the ladder.
With 13 wins for the year Hannibals has now locked in finals action, well done!
In the match of the round we had our undefeated top of the ladder Medhurst Minions playing our former ladder leader BraphB and this match was a gem.
As he so often does, the Minions just found a way to win in a thriller 2274 - 2264.
The loss hurt BraphB as dropped him down to 6th on the ladder but only percentage off the top 4.
Lions4Life was desperate to keep his final chances alive against Mmeow and put up a very impressive 2334 that would of beaten any side this round except his opponent!
Unfortunately for Lions4Life, Mmeow was the league top scorer this week with 2371 which makes her outright 2nd.
Mmeow looks to be the biggest threat to Medhurst Minions at this stage.
The loss was brutal for the Lions as he is now 2 games out of the 8 with 3 to go and will need a little luck.
Playing for Draft Picks may not be able to make the 8 but it is not stopping her from taking some big scalps on the run home.
The latest victim is 3rd place Niges Cats who was defeated 2069 - 2240.
The loss threatens Nige's top 4 spot but for now he is clinging on to 4th thanks to his %118.
No Bounty this week as my (@dahmsy79) team vs Lockout (@o07) but a win was vital for his both as we jostle for positions in the Top 8.
Fortunately for me, my boys were on this week and scored 2308 to defeat Lockout's 1949.
The win shoots me into 3rd on the ladder while Lockout is clinging to 8th spot but does have a 2 game buffer on 9th.
There a close finish Piston-Broke v Cunning Stunts is Back Again's match.
In the end it was the Cunning Stunts who prevailed by just 12 points, 1759 - 1747.
Both are unfortunately out of Finals contention.
Buffalo Bisons can't make the 8 but are determined to finish the year strong and had a nice 1977 - 1831 victory over Little Old Lady.
I Wear Footy Pajamas had the guaranteed 4 points thanks to his NZL19500 match up.
Steemit Huskies is also out of contention for the 8 but finishing strong with a 2070 - 1767 victory over Kulate.
Just2Random also had a nice win over DBLSTR 1898 - 1552.

A look ahead to the Round 17 fixtures that will help shape the 8:
The match of the round will be the 5th placed Hannibal's Leftovers vs 6th placed BraphB.
Both players are only percentage off the top 4.
Another match between two top 8 teams see's 7th placed Adro's Assassins facing a tough match against 2nd placed Mmoew.
Expected 9th placed Lions4Life watching on with great interest as this will be a big chance to catch a game on the Assassins.
Another match up that has a case to also be the Match of the Round see's the undefeated Medhurst Minions taking on 4th placed Niges Cats.
Niges Cats are reeling after the loss this week put his top 4 spot in danger and he faces almost mission impossible to keep it now.
Can Niges Cats be the first team to roll the Minions this year?

Lions4Life must win to keep his top 8 chances alive while I will be looking to consolidate my new found top 4 position.
Lockout (@o07) is in 8th spot and has not yet nailed down his finals spot.
He can go a long way to locking it in here with a victory over 10th placed Little Old Lady.
