AFL Fantasy Classic Steemit League Luck Ladder - Round 19 - FINAL STANDINGS

We've all heard the phrase "Just the luck of the draw" thrown around in sporting parlance. It's often used to brush off a bit of bad luck, or even good fortune. But let's take a little bit of a closer look at what that means for us here in the Steemit @aflfantasy Classic League.

Well that's it folks. The AFL Fantasy finals are here and the "Home and Away" season is done and dusted - no, not the Alf Stewart Home & Away - that shit goes on forever....

By now I'm comfortable that you know how I calculate the luck ladder each, week, but just in case you want to refresh your memory, you can always click the small link below and have a look at last week's post.

So how did we all fare in the final round?

Medhurst's Minions finished the season strongest and top scored this week, so he gets 1 Expected Win, and @dblstr bottomed out for the lowest score (I'm sure @nzl19500 will be glad for the reprieve), with 0 expected wins. The rest of us fall somewhere in between.

So now the bit I hope you're actually interested in (otherwise this has been a bit of a waste of time for me each week)....the luck rankings

The Top 3 Luckiest

Equal 2nd Luckiest, both with a Differential of +2.421 wins more than expected were....

Medhurst's Minions & Lockout (@o07)

And the Luckiest by a fairly comfortable margin in the end, with a Differential of +3.165 was Mmeow

Congratulations to the three of you, you rode your luck through the season and are all set to enjoy some finals action..

And now for the other end of the scale.

The Top 3 Unluckiest

3rd....with a Differential of -1.632 was Adro's Assassins.....

2nd....with a Differential of -1.815 was Nige's Cats.....

But the Absolute Unluckiest over the course of the season, with a Differential -2.790 was

Steemit Huskies....

Comiserations @vicspics, the Footy Gods seemed to be out to thwart you at every turn this season. Hopefully Season 2019 will bring you better fortune.
