Away from keyboard #20. Brielmeersen Recreation Park in Deinze. Part 1: A pond.

While November is generous on sunny days, my fiancé and I try to spend as much time afk as possible and visit different cute places in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

Today we are going to take you, my friends, for a walk in the Brielmeersen Recreation Park in Deinze (Belgium).

The Brielmeersen Recreation Park is a beautiful place not only for walking but also for entertaining kids. There are many playgrounds for children and sports facilities for adults. Therefore, each family member can find something to do. @wolf-of-sarcasm and I did some exercises on a bar. Well, by saying the exercises i mean that... I hung on it... for several seconds... :D

And then we walked around the neighborhood and around the pond for a long time.

The pond is just amazing!!!

All the water in it is covered with duckweed. It is so green that it seems as if it is not water but a meadow.

Ducks, wild geese and swans nevertheless swim perfectly in this meadow :D

There is only one part of the pond that has no duckweed on the water - where the brook is running into this pond.

There was only one thing we regretted walking in this park. We did not bring sandwiches and drinks to have a picnik sitting on the hill. So if you ever come to this place for a walk, do not repeat our mistake ;)
