Tiny houses and affordable houses...
Hello all,
This is my first post here, so please be kind... ;) I live in Central Oregon, USA and we have a problem with affordable housing and homelessness... The project I founded called Oregon Houseless (http://oregonhouseless.org) also on Facebook, surveyed 287 people not living in any shelter, about that they needed most right now! They could choose from food, shower, toilet, temporary housing, permanent housing, work, addiction assistance, etc... They responded overwhelmingly that they need permanent housing in the city limits near other services they require for survival like work, food shelters, counseling, etc... That is when I got to thinking about Tiny houses and designed this solution that uses flexible foundations for home mobility...
Please take a moment to watch this whiteboard video I create about how it works:
Can you use this model to build a village (http://standupvillage.org) in your community to provide shelter for those in need?
Why do you call them "Houseless", because that is what they like to be called... Everyone has a home and it's where you belong.
Any Steem gained from this post will go directly 100% to the Stand Up Village project...
Thanks and I hope you enjoined original idea!
Best Regards,
-- Kevin
