You should have good amount of audience on any social media platforms like pinterest, Instagram, Facebook or you should start gaining followers ( if you don't have)
Then you should join a good affiliate program like Amazon , Clickbank or flipkart , eBay and be work sincerely with the affiliate program.
It's better to have a affiliate website on wordpress and and have a good interface and if you have any other website you should put affiliate banner ads which will drive good amount of traffic.
If you don't use pinterest then I recommend you to use pinterest for affiliate marketing because it's a very good platform and my personal experience with Pinterest is great but you need to work hard at the beginning and gain followers then pinterest will handle the rest and you will surely generate affiliate sales . Promote your link on Facebook page and YouTube Channel if you have .
Select a particular niche and promote products of you sell everything and don't focus on a particular niche then you will not be able to target the right Audience.
Keywords research is the most important step take keywords which has more search results and less competition and don't do keyword stuffing use the keywords in a good manner .
