A Wild Ride With No Engine

Luca Bertossio is an Italian glider pilot and the world aerobatic champion. He is 26 now and is still on top. Even at this tender young age, he has already won over 6 gold medals in the World Glider Aerobatic Championships aboard a Swift S-1 glider. He also won first place titles in many other aerobatic competitions around the world, the most recent event being the World Air Games held in Dubai in 2015. He is a true virtuoso, and as you can see from the video below, it is very inspiring indeed. Enjoy the ride!
The video below is provided by EAA's Youtube channel. It is a mini documentary of Luca's aerobatic performance at EAA's Oshkosh Air Venture air show that happens every October. He has a great spirit and is a great example of someone who is truly passionate about what he does. Enjoy!
