Guide To Become Quickly A Google AdWords Certified Or SEO Expert And Find Clients Online
Hi Steemians,
It's my first post on Steemit and I thought as a full-time freelancer on Upwork, I could share my experience about how to quickly become freelancer and getting pay to manage Ecommerce Adwords account or offering Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services.
I won't surprise anybody by saying that you need to have the basics of Adwords Management and/or SEO.
You can spend hours and hours reading all the Google Adwords Documentations (which I did for professional improvement) but I recommend you to cut the corners because you will really improve by doing it, by managing an real Adwords account or making SEO tasks.
Okay here's 4 steps to follow in order to gain good money online as Freelancer as an Adwords Manager or SEO expert:
#1
Subscribe to Udemy and bought this online course about Adwords
https://www.udemy.com/the-ultimate-google-adwords-training-course/?start=1071
The price goes up and down presently, March 3, 2018, the course is at $10.99.
It's the best Adwords course I found online to learn quickly and effectively Adwords.
#2
Open a new account on the freelancing platform https://www.upwork.com/
Set up your account to offer Search Engine Optimization services at first and aim clients who need keyword research. It's a common/small task and quite easy to learn (tons of Youtube videos explaining how to do) plus you can use the free tool Google Keyword Planner. At first, clients will give small fix price contacts for keyword research to freelancer without any experience.
You need to have a good Upwork profile to sell yourself as an Adwords Expert so take few hours to build your profile as it's recommended by Upwork, do the exams, write a nice description/titles (you can inspire yourself from other successful freelancers).
Once you will have completed few fix price tasks and receive good reviews you will earn badges. At the moment you earn the rising talent badge increase your hourly rate at $25 (at first start with $10 because you have to prove yourself) and edit your profile to include Adwords Management Services.

Doing Search Engine Optimization or Adwords Management is hard but I will reveal my secret. At certain points you need to have advanced and paid tools like SEMrush, Optmyzr, BrightLocal etc. these tools have support tech. I have been literally bombarding them of questions even when I am pretty sure but when I have a slight doubt I ask a question.
Asking questions is free (once you subscribed and paid your monthly fee) so use it excessively. Google Adwords has a Free Chat (24/7 if you change your IP with ExpressVPN) so you can bombard them of questions also.
Sometimes their chat link is hard to find, add this URL in your bookmark:
https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?from=cuf_optimization_tips
At the end you will find the link to open a chat.
So yes, when you are getting paid to manage someone else Adwords account or SEO website you don't want to make mistake so ask non-stop questions to the support (except when you are 100% sure). By doing that you will avoid big mistakes and this is how you will really learn and save a lot of time.

You learn by doing it. Once you have your clients on Upwork you have to keep on offering more improvements to their Adwords or SEO. Another trick is to read the latest blog from your SEO or Adwords paid tools and apply what they recommend based on their tools. Guess what, if you have any difficulties simply contact them and ask for help.
There's a lot of freelancers offering low hourly rate but you certainly don't want to do that, it doesn't inspire trust and professionalism. In my opinion the best clients are those who manage an Ecommerce and own their own brand. It can take times to find a good client but keep on applying every day on job posts on Upwork and it will come.
Let me know if these straight forward tips are helpful.
