Eden Park, one of the most beautiful parks in America!
I love losing myself in the forest while enjoying the fresh air, the scents, the trees and the sounds of birds and animals that live there.
That is why, for this reason I enjoyed my morning exercises in this beautiful "Eden Park" as the weather became cooler and put on an autumn show in all shades of red, yellow, purple, and brown glorious fall colors.
Eden Park is an urban park. Located in the Walnut Hills, it offers numerous overlooks ( views) of the Ohio River Valley. The park was purchased by the city in 1869 from Nicholas Longworth, who had previously used if as a Vineyard. Longworth was an American banker and winemaker. He was an influential figure in the early American History of Wine.
Longworth called his scenic estate the " Garden Of Eden" and the name was partially retained for the park. The park is located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Cincinnati, with history architecture style, with nearby Victorian homes constructed between 1880 and 1920.
The park holds a number of city landmarks and landscape features. For example, the Elsinore Arch, built in 1883, serves as a natural entrance to the park. The park is one of the more popular parks in the city. With a peaceful Mirror Lake reflecting pool.
While experiencing this memorable and beautiful park, an adorable and curious squirrel came to me, and I said " Hello, Happy Squirrel". Do you know that squirrels kiss when they see each other? Mouth-to-nose and mouth-to-mouth ( Awwww) what a sweet cute little animals!
Squirrels also use their tails as a signalling device, twitching it when uneasy to alert other squirrels of potential danger. Squirrels don't always remember where they stored their supply of seeds and nuts for the winter, because squirrels often fail to reclaim their buried food, abandoned seeds and nuts often take root, establishing trees and other plants in new locations.
Enjoy the open skies, the trees and the fragrance of the flowers, remember Autumn season represents a beautiful cycle of loss regeneration and regrowth once the Spring season comes around.
