Avellana beach Costa Rica.

This beautiful and calm beach is located northwest of Costa Rica in Guanacaste.

This beach is located at 40 minutes from Tamarindo and an hour and a half from Liberia.

This beach characterized by its clean waters full of different corals and fish.

Avellanas offers turquoise beaches and white sand.

When the tide rises it is a perfect place for surfers since the waves can reach 5 meters high.

This beautiful bird to which I managed to take a picture is called Urraca copetona. The scientific name of the copetona magpie is Calocitta Formosa.

Playa Avellanas is an excellent place to get away from the noise of the cities and find peace and tranquility to relax your mind. 

On this beach you will see different species of exotic birds and Congo monkeys.
