Almost falling off a cliff!!

When I was in Junior high, which is grade 7, 8 and 9, sometime around then it was the last day and we had a 2 hour break so me and my friends decided to explore the neighborhood and we went to a forest thats like 10 mins away from our school but instead of going in the forest the normal way, we went through a trail that lead to a cliff and a bench. So i took some pictures and it was nice but there was another trail that was a little more steep and they convinced me to go down, and we reached a little platform, I have a big fear of heights btw.

So this other trail that went in the forest was so steep it was like walking on a wall, so after some convincing I decided to go because it was the last day and they wanted to do something fun, plus they've done this before. but the thing is the small 5 inch path that we were walking on was almost all sand so every step i took a piece of the floor broke behind me which terrified me.

We were half way there when i felt the ground breaking beneath me and i stopped for a sec and then it just crumpled away and i started SLIDING DOWN! but i landed on another platform and grabbed on to a very thin plant. I made it across safely and never did that again and we went back though a different, just as dangerous, trail through the forest.
