The customer is always right when it comes to the quality of the product. There should be no arguing. Next time (in this internet age) take the clerk's name and tell them the store will be mentioned online to your many followers and the company can have his/her name if they want to to punish them for the bad publicity.

You don't have to prove anything. Just the fact that you say it's spoiled is enough to alarm any businessman who wants to survive. You're the customer, "end of story" (as we say in Britain and Ireland). You also have the Internet behind you. For best results, add a picture to your online post.

I once called to customer support freephone to complain. The store called back the next day inviting me to come and get the refund. Try this, it may work even in Russia.

I am from Urkraine (it is near Russia) and here customer not often is right
