Seneca is one of those minds that tell us that 2000 years ago, philosophy was as complex as it is now
yea, it's interesting to hear Seneca talk about the noise of his neighbors working out at the gym in his apartment complex, taking drives in his sedan, and swimming in pools at lavish villas. He could very well be talking about modern day. It's almost surreal to think how alike we are even though the gap is thousands of years.
