It took four days to pass the Rif mountains - there were not many roads involved.

Come with me on a true moto endurance adventure, not that organized Adrenalin doses, always in controlled environment and tested terrain. The adventure I am talking about is basically pure will. If you are not ridden enough, you just don´t want to cross a mountain massive, possibly on a beeline on a motorcycle. Why would you do that? For me it brings another fulfilling episode to my life. How experienced one might feel as a rider, when it comes to traveling this way, we are all greenhorns during the first days of such a nomadic moto trip. The adventure enfolds always in it´s own idea. I want to show you how a day on a bike can fill your soul with a world of experiences. If you are traveling alone, on a mission, a day on a dirt bike make you so focused on today´s stage, that the mind can relax in tranquil space. The decisions you make are essential to questions as: "Will I spend the night up here in the mountains, on a scree field, if I don´t find the way down the cliffs of this mountain?" I shared my last water with kids showing me the way earlier that day - "Where to get water on top of a mountain?" Muscle cramps began to occur, reserves are gone and still 35° Celsius up there. How to survive is not a sloagan, it happens when you make the right decisions.

Crossing Cannabis Fields

On my way down one mountain, I found myself crossing fields of Cannabis. This is the region of Morocco, where the Hashish comes from. And I was right in the middle of their fields, there was no other way. Unfortunately, I rode a few of the plants down and started calculating of the monetary value and the loss for both, the farmer and the consumer. Those fields are up in the mountains and to enter or leave a field let you meet a lot of hurdles. From where I was, it was the only way to ride down this mountain. I will not post more pictures than those two, as most of the material could expose their exact locations. Nobody want that. For "Moses" and "Rachid" it was ok.

Water from the sprinkler

Half way down, I was lucky to pass another such field which had a sprinkler for irrigation running. Knowing it is bad ass to drink most probably water containing phosphor and other chemicals as a fertilizer, but the muscle cramps came in faster intervals now. So imagine, someone putting his mouth closest to the sprinkler´s head in the same hight as mine. I swear, I will never kiss a sprinkler again!  This is the moment where you don´t realize that you are in the middle of a true adventure, but you are.
