Chippewa Lake Michigan

Good Morning Steemit Community! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend! I know I did! Me and My BFF Jen adventured up north and spent this past weekend at her Lake house on Chippewa Lake here in the Beautiful state of Michigan! The lake house is located on a gully off of the main lake and it is filled with an abundance of wildlife such as turtles, fish, and a large variety of birds, we even got to see a Bald Eagle! Chippewa lake is one of Michigan's great freshwater fishing and swimming lakes. There was a huge school of bluegills (native Michigan freshwater fish) bedding right off of shore that I was feeding corn to all weekend. Pan fish such as bluegills and sunfish are a lot of fun to watch, it was like having my very own fresh water fish tank! Unfortunately I was unable to do any fishing and spent my weekend soaking up the sun and relaxing with friends by the water, it was great!
