Hi All ----------Here I am

I have been long time unsuccessful blogger, a tech enthusiast and one of my lifelong dream was to become a failed novelist. I am ok to compromise on failed part though.

I am here after reading about steemit on some news site. This seems miles away blockchain application and other crypto coins but anything that has potential to create new content piques my interest and more so if they are using blockchain.

I like the concept of getting rewarded for creating content which others like, Like an extended version of youtube but also including words. I still don't follow why it needs to be decentralized if there are no privacy controls around it.

I have tried using google adsense and I have seen people getting paid for high traffic content. I still don't understand how steemit is able to comparatively pay so much for so low eyeballs. But I like it.

Hopefully, I'll get to understand it better in coming days and in the meanwhile, I'll try to keep my day job and pursue my dream of being a failed novelist.
