Capitalism has gone hand in hand with the development of humanity, the consequences have been very unfortunate (pollution, diseases, etc., etc.). Large corporations have taken advantage of our weaknesses as human beings by thoroughly studying our behavior, consumer thinking and "designing" goods and services to "satisfy" needs that in reality are not.
