Very pertinent and accurate your post, @nancybriti. Contrary to what is often believed, although we live in a time of many advances, we also experience cruel and absurd setbacks. One of them - one of the most serious - is violence against women, be it physical, social, psychological and/or symbolic. The most obvious is physics, which can be disseminated in the media, but the others, because they are not so obvious and more individual, do not have the same attention. All must be condemned by our contemporary civilization, which prides itself on being the standard bearer of human rights. Certainly, art and writing, in particular, is a tool of redemption and self-vindication, as shown by the poetic texts you reproduce.
