I lost my phone and the thief spent money in ny account through ussd airtime top up
I lost my small phone which has my main line in it dis evening on my way home from d park. Someone actually stole it but I just can't explain how. He/she has used it to withdraw 20k via airtime top-up. But thank God I usually receive mail alert of all bank transactions in my gmail account in this Android phone I'm using. And the Android battery was dead flat. Immediately I on it after charging, I bgan to receive debit alerts in my gmail ooooo. I went straight to my mobile bank 2 send all I have to my hubby's account, but no way. I immediately contacted my 2 banks to block my accounts & MTN also.
This was a leason I learnt hard way. Pls call your bank immediately you lost or misplaced your phone
