Forgiveness/Unforgiveness

Forgiveness is an attitude, it is a way of life. Forgiveness is our seed of obedience to God's word so when we forgive we reign in life as kings and Queens over any situation in life.
Jesus has a lot to say about forgiveness. In mattew 18:15 to 16. He shows us how brothers can handle disagreement.
The lord is interested in reconciliation and forgiveness amongst siblings, husband and wife.
Peter heard what the lorf said so peter came to him and asked how often his brother will sin against him and he will forgive him. Up to seven times and the lord answered, I tell you not seven timrs but 70 times seven. (70×7) will give us 490 times which indicates thay we should always forgive and forget.
The master in the parable forgave his servant the huge amount of money he was owning him because he could not pay.The master showed him mercy.
Gods reaction to Unforgiveness
1•Unforgiveness provokes God's anger so to have a life that pleases God, we must live a life of forgiveness
2•When we don't forgive we have physical mental and spiritual torment it is torture to have hateful thoughts about someone
"Why is it so important to forgive"
Forgiveness is for our own growth and happiness. When we hold on to hurt, pain, resentment, and anger it harms us far more than it harms the offender. Forgiveness frees us to live in the present. Forgiveness allows us to move on without anger or contempt or seeking revenge.
