if by having your own blog you mean .. a self-hosted Wordpress blog -- absolutely. If you are on wordpress.com you wont be able to use the steempress plugin
Yes. I'm aware of the wordpress.org/.com difference. It's self hosted 😊. Really excited to give it a try. Will plan it in for next week.

Thanks for making this clarification! I have two self-hosted Wordpress blogs, ethandsmith.com and lifeexperienced.org. Steempress has worked well with lifeexperienced.org, so I'm looking forward to using it more.

I actually used Steempress for the first time on this post today. I was typing this article up for my podcast's website and thought it would make a good blog, so I gave it a try. It worked very well. The formatting is as it should be, so I'm satisfied, but I have a sample size of one, so I don't know if I'm qualified to recommend it yet or not.
@shadowspub is a great person to ask. She has been using Steempress since right after it launched.
