Begins to grow
The moment you decide to become yourself is the moment that everyone else begins to grow. You being you, forces other people to at least consider being themselves. Yes, this may, in fact, inspire both admiration and hatred in others around you. It could also result in emotional pain or other undesirable attitudes being thrown your way; but even if they hate you, you are still actually doing everyone a service. By you being yourself, you are forcing the world to open up a bit.
To become more individualistic, to help grow; along with you. Nothing can grow without love, so you loving yourself, in fact, supplies love to those around you. Children do this naturally, they are themselves. they have no need to consider putting up a mask to be someone else. Children just know who they are, until society teaches them that its easier to try and be someone else. Children even know their weaknesses, so it's best not to point them out all the time. Kids know what they suck at just like adults do. The best you will do in life is look at your life at the end and say... I did 100 percent of the things I thought I needed to do to become better. If we are rolling in that direction, then there is no need to stop and contemplate what others may or may not feel about us.
Living your life based on the opinions of others is a quick road to dilapidation. Society doesn't want you to change. There is no vested interest in you changing in the eyes of your corporation, or pretty much anyone around you. They met you as a person who was one way, they liked that person. There is no guarantee they will like the person you change into. So just keep that in mind. You may rise to great heights but don't expect others to follow. You have to train harder, live morally and love yourself more... Despite what anyone has to say about it. Growing pains are a thing, but so are bed sores when you sleep your life away.
YES!! so true @austinmuhs I spent so many years of my life desperately trying to fit in but as soon as I started just being me I felt immediately more connected and happy in myself. Thanks for this great post xx
