ADHD Confessions (Rousseau as self-help) by Richard Orange; book recommendation
Yesterday, I stumbled upon this short book short Kindle book (free with Amazon Prime). The journalist-author relates his own struggles with Attention Deficit Disorder to those (surmised) of Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778).
I loved reading Rousseau's 'Confessions' and so I'd also read (as did this author) the biography of Rousseau by Damrosch (Restless Genius).
I find the author's characterizations of attention deficit disorder accurate.
If you have ADD you will enjoy the story of another (two others, if you include Mr. Orange) with the same traits, who made/make a good go of it.
