SOUL RETENTION
The role and responsibility of every believer (Christian) is to win souls into the Kingdom of Heaven And the ability to make this souls REMAIN is the heart desire of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In John 15:16, Jesus tasked us, Christians to bring forth fruits and that our fruit remain while we are busy working to complete our own salvation, our work on earth will be incomplete if we fail to work on the souls entrusted to us, making sure they remain in the faith.
Jesus' purpose on earth wouldn't have been complete if He had not died on the cross for you and l, John 17:4. He never gave up on us not in our state of sinfulness, why then do we easily give up on the souls we're to keep.
Many Christians in the church today feel too holy that they do not want to even talk to a brother in any form of weakness while some of us too are busy working on our own things. But the only way to be content in life is to live a fulfilled life in Christ.
Thoughts Of The Day
- How often do you check up on a fellow brethren.
- Are you ready to help a brother in his or her weakness.
- How busy is your schedule that doing something in His presence becomes a burden.
Let's work on the salvation and wellbeing of fellow brethren and we will be content in life.
