A WINTER WALK [Jan.24.2020]🅰️🏅
It’s been snowing lots and lots here! It’s also been warmer weather with the fluffy sort of snow. My favourite!
So I decided to head off onto the forest paths. I love doing this! It’s just so serene...
And I had all this beauty pretty much to my self! It was AMAZING!
When the snow is like that it absorbs all the surrounding sounds muffling them into a peaceful silence.
It’s so wonderful just to stop and listen to it...
You just can’t buy these sorts of adventures... Freeing up your time to follow your heart is worth it! Money and it’s demands can wait.
So before I move on here... take a closer look at the photo above!
The little chickadee popped in for a picture with me! I felt honoured and his cheerful chirping matched my mood as I continued walked along the narrow path.
Getting up early and getting an #AutomaticWin (10,000 steps before 10am) is simply about being intentional with your time. Doing what’s important first. It’s that simple...
And the rewards that are granted to those willing to accept the adventure... Well let me put it this way...
The steps I took today paid off in more than the usual healthy ways. There was the magic of the snow all around and I couldn’t be more pleased to be outside breathing the pure clean air.
It’s a long way from Hawaii’s beaches but I think there’s beauty all around if you open your eyes to look for it... no matter where you are it can be found... and it’s worth taking the effort to go out of your way to find it. All those steps we take gift us with the present... and that’s where healthy minds, bodies, and spirits invest.
So there you have it! My latest adventure! It’s always good to get an #AutomaticWin as well! Here’s the proof!

Congrats on the automaticwin and great job with the 18014 @actifit steps @wil.metcalfe! The snow looks lovely. Ours unfortunately didn't stick around, but we had such cold temps for several days on end (10 degrees F day AND night), that I was glad it did warm up. However, winter isn't over yet, and I'm sure next month we will see some more snow. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Have a lovely evening! 😎👍

What part of the country do you hail from?
Here we have about 6 months of winter so I am doing my best to get out and enjoy the nice days... Hawaiian beaches this December also helped cure my winter time blues!
The things us Canadians do to survive the cold! Last week we had 7 days of -35 C (that’s about -31 F) so what a relief that our temps are now ranging from -10 C to 0 C... I’m just grateful and looking to enjoy the snow more when I can this year. 🥶
I live in the Northwest in Washington state in a little town 5 miles from the Canadian border called Everson. It's usually fairly mild, with a winter 'blip' every now and again. Back in the 90's, I lived in Gunnison, Co which was know as the 'coldest spot in the nation'. I've seen -34 degrees F but the sun would always come out. Here, the sun likes to take a vacation during the winter. Alas, spring will be here before we know it!😎
