THE DAY STRING CONCEPT [Jan.08.2020]🅰️🏅

Yesterday I did my best to explain how meditation helped me marshal my mind. So I figured I would try to explain it again with a couple drawings. I don’t know if they make any sense to you but this is how I visualize my practice.

Waking up early and meditating first thing is the anchor that sets the stage for the next waking hours of focus. Stringing together a 24 hour day seems much easier when I meditate for 5, 10, or 15 min. depending on how much time I have.

When I don’t take the time to create space in my mind my mental state isn’t at its best. I have been search for a way to focus and reduce frustration.

What I’ve discovered is that frustration is really a negative form of focus... it’s an emotional state that doesn’t bro g about the positive results I’m after.

I want to string together my best possible day every day but it’s really hard to do when your starting the day (and ultimately finishing it) in a negative state of mind.

Mindfulness and meditation is the way to better and better performance.

What an excellent advice! I've always been a person who likes to go with the flow and wants to do how I happen to feel like because sometimes ready made plans and schedules distress me. But of course I do also plan things. Very much so because I have to. But especially on those times when nothing else than sleeping the whole day trough seems to make sense and I would so much like to skip all plans I've made. Then meditating helps and the day seems a little bit brighter. And when it's a routine, it's easier to start concentrating. I do have to admit that when not working, I do like to skip routines a lot... :)

Great stepping Wil 💪🏃 and congratulations on the automaticwin 🙌. You explained it really well, anything done without focus/mindfulness mostly backfires or comes out shoddy.
I definitely have a few moments of meditation where I quiet and clear my mind.
