Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's take it away 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty cloudy and windy as I made my way around.
It was a little chilly compared to yesterday, but I had on warm clothes😹.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
It rained for a while at around noon then again at 3pm.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still a little cloudy as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. Though the sun shot through say around 4pm to 5pm. Then the rain caught me as I was coming back, luckily I had carried an umbrella.
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Lebanon trending as Israel ignored US calls for a ceasefire🙀.
Instead the airstrikes have been going on killing 60 civilians and injuring many others today😿.
PM Netanyahu has urged the army to keep hitting with full force🙀.
Today, a precise airstrike in Beirut targeting a Hezbollah commander killed two people and injured several others. No word if that commander was hit.
More than 300 schools across Lebanon have turned into shelters for thousands of displaced people.
US, EU and ten other states are urging for a 21 day ceasefire to allow people from around the two border regions to return to their homes.
Let's hope both sides will agree to give diplomacy a chance💯.
Same story in Gaza, bloodshed continued with 36 Palestinians killed, 15 of them were sheltering in a school😿.
Palestinian officials have buried 88 unidentified bodies delivered by Israeli forces in a truck🙀. Most of the bodies decomposed beyond recognition😿.
Meanwhile across the pond, PM Netanyahu has arrived in New York for his speech at UN general assembly.
Pro Palestinian protesters marched through New York city streets calling for the arrest of Netanyahu for the deaths of Palestinian civilians🙀. 41,534 is the current death toll since October 7 last year.
Still in New York, mayor Eric Adams trending as he has been indicted with bribery and soliciting illegal foreign donations to his election campaign🙀.
He becomes the first sitting NY mayor in modern history to face criminal charges🙀.
Meanwhile, president Zelensky visited the white house and got a promise of further military aid package from president Biden.
Recently Trump has been critical of the aid given to Ukraine,praised Russian military record in historical conflicts and said US has to get out of that situation🙀. He insists he would quickly end the war if elected.
Finally, Sudan trending as the army launched a major offensive on Khartoum. The army had lost control of most of the capital to the paramilitary RSF forces.
Sudan needs to go into civilian rule as soon as possible💯.
